Hi all,

I have a few questions about dissociating neurons.  I am currently trying to dissociate cells from the hypothalamus and can't get usable cells (there too small to be patch clamping from) and suggestions anyone?  (I use Hibernate as my medium and papain as my enzyme to digest at 30 degrees for 30 mins).  Any suggestions would be welcome.

could you describe your protocol in more detail? and how old are your mice?
