Badass volunteer for brain experiments

Hi,

This is quite a crazy post. I know that one of the parameters that slow down research on the brain is the impossibility to conduct some experiments on living humans. I'm not saying we should go back to creepy nazi experiments on prisoners.

But what if I am a volunteer for potentially dangerous (but useful) experiments? Do laws still prevent it if I am healthy, don't ask for money, and that some psychiatrist guarantees I'm not insane?
