Hey,

I am currently struggeling with the definition of the terms "Neuroplasticity" and "Neurogenesis". Is neurogenesis as special type of neuroplasticity?

My current knowledge is that neurogenesis describes the proliferation, maturation and survial of newborn neurons. While neuroplasticity stands for morphological changes on existing neurons.

Can anyone help me?!

Big Thanks!
