Additional info I received by e mail:

Bio, Chemistry & Food Career Event starts a new project: International Talent meets Dutch Life Sciences. We will invite up to 50 international talents to visit the Netherlands for a four day visit from 19 to 22 May.

During this trip the participants will visit a number of Dutch companies and science parks, so that they will get a good insight on working in the Netherlands. They will also visit the Bio, Chemistry & Food Career Event where they can meet up to 100 employers and participate in Speed Dates, short job interviews, with top employers.

Our sponsor Amsterdam Innovation Motor has made it possible for us to give travel budgets to the participants (€ 350 for European residents and € 750 for others). Hotel and meal expenses are also covered. This makes this project a unique opportunity to meet the Dutch Life Sciences sector.

    Who can participate:

MSc (students), PhD (students), post-docs and other young professionals with a background in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Food or a related research area who are seriously interested in a career in the Netherlands, but who live outside the Netherlands.

Students should obtain their degree no later than 1 January 2009.

More information on this project can be found on our website: www.BCFevent.nl/international. Or read the press announcement we wrote.

Do you know young scientists who are interested in working in the Netherlands? Please forward this message to them! Don’t let them miss this opportunity. It is possible to register for this event till 1 April 2008.

    Kind regards,
