Behavioural assessment of rodent neurological disease models

This is  an intensive course aimed at PhD students in neuroscience, neuropharmacology, laboratory animal sciences, as well as at junior scientists working on preclinical drug development in pharmaceutical industry and contract research organizations.

The course consists of lectures in the morning and hands-on demonstrations in the afternoon. Participation is limited to 24 students in hands-on demonstrations, but more can be accepted to lectures alone. The teaching staff consists of internationally recognized experts in behavioral testing for neurological symptoms in laboratory rodents.

A relaxed atmosphere and the never ending Northern summer days will ensure that the course will be truly interactive between the teaching staff and the students. A full participation in the program will yield 1.5 ECTS.
