Can anyone suggest a *really* simple neuroscience paper that I may be able to understand? And then another paper which either follows up or contradicts the first paper? Thanks a million!

could you be a little more precise about the topic? Neuroscience is a quite broad field and from psychophysics over imaging studies to molecular neuroscience you can get anything you like.
